I played around with the background colours however I later found out that the changing of the colour made the image less professional and that it was actually better with the original blue so that’s where I decided to keep it.This shot was one that I rather liked, however, I wasn’t so keen on the positioning of the pegs so I decided to take the image again but with the middle pegs more spread. this made the image much better and it even made my final five images.This image was one that I rather liked however my main issue with this was the background colour. As I was using natural light the images can experience changes in the background colour and I felt this one didn’t look like it was part of the same series as the rest.I decided not to use this image as I wasn’t that happy with the placement of the paracetamols. In later shots, they were rearranged to a shot I preferred.I really wanted a group image of all my changed fruit, however, I decided to cut it as I realised that many of the images that I was using as influences would only have one specific image in the frame. Therefore to fit in the theme I decided to take this image out my collection.I tried many different shots with grapes including this one, however, I just ended up not enjoying this image and didn’t feel that it fit my series.I tried many images using a Banana as I felt that it would work really well in my series. That, however, was not the case, the images themselves fell flat and didn’t contain the excitement that the others did.I really liked this shot, however, I felt that it could use some tweaking specifically the placement of the scissors. I decided that the scissors looked more dramatic facing up into the air as I felt that was better to frame. This feeling later became a reality as I used the later image in my final piece.The avocado image was one of the first that I came up with and I wanted it to really connote generic conventions of culinary photography. After much research, I realised that most images had the cut part with the pip exposed towards the back of the frame. So that’s what I went with instead.This was another image I tried to get of the grapes. I ended up not using this one as I wasn’t keen on the framing.The pineapple with flowers within it is personally the statement piece of the collection so I wanted it perfect. The main problem I found with this one was that the flowers were predominantly facing towards the left when I preferred them spread out.This was another failed group image, the main problem with this one being the framing.
