| The word that I have selected is synchronicity and I selected it as one of the definitions explained it as ‘the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.’ I felt that this definition is something that gave me many ideas for my photography and I believed that it was something where I could really express my inner artist. |

| What do you want to point your camera at? |
| I have decided to point my camera at fruit and Vegetables. These are the main concept for my images. |
| Why are you interested in this subject? |
| I am interested less in the fruits and vegetables themselves and more interested in playing with the concept of food photography specifically that of fruits and vegetables. I want to challenge the generic stereotypes that are used in photography with food that are used to try and sell them to the audience. |
| What do you hope an audience will take from your images? |
| I hope an audience would feel rather uncomfortable with the images at first as they won’t be expecting the play on generic connotations of this type of photography. I also want the audience to realise that the main purpose of this type of photography is to sell the product and to see if I can sell these more obscure items using the same stereotypes. |
| What areas of research are you considering to help deepen your understanding of the subject you have chosen? |
| I am researching a lot of contemporary still life images and photographers to deepen my understanding of still life and what I need to make sure I apply to my photos and what I will be able to challenge when taking mine. |
| What practitioner(s) or visual resources would you consider to have influenced you? This not have to be photographic. |
| Erwin Frotin is someone who has influenced my choices for my still life images. His work with contemporary still life specifically his work with fruits in photos with items that you wouldn’t usually see in the same frame as each other. He really influenced my work and made me realise that I could too challenge the generic photos we see today. |
| What support or equipment might you need to achieve your goals? |
| I am going to get many fruits and vegetables to be the subjects in my photos and with them I need to get some other items such as nails and coat hangers to use in the photos alongside my subjects. |
